Effective date: July 15, 2026
BG Remover ("the app") is developed by Adeel Ahmed. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles your information. The short version: the app does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
All photo processing (background removal) happens entirely on your device, using Google ML Kit's on-device machine learning. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, never leave your device, and are never seen by us or anyone else. The app only accesses the specific photos you choose through the Android photo picker.
The app does not collect any data: no personal information, no photos, no usage analytics, no advertising identifiers, no location, no device identifiers. The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
The app itself does not require an internet connection to process photos. Google Play services may download the on-device machine-learning model once after installation; this is handled by Google Play services under the Google Privacy Policy.
Images you save are stored in your device's own gallery, under your control. Images you share are sent only to the app you choose in the share dialog.
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
